Cinderella books

Do you really have to lose a shoe to get your happy ending? Cinderella is the fairy tale we all know... but she is also a heroine with far more to offer than her chores and her magical gown. Behind the glitter and the pumpkins, she has inspired dozens of books, sometimes tender, sometimes biting, but surprisingly always quite modern. Enjoy the enchanting picture books, the remixed versions with a heroine who relies only on herself, or even the stories where the slipper is anything but a romantic accessory. Whether you like feminist retellings, the great classics or picture books to read at a quiet pace, the best Cinderella books have a few surprises in store, and our team has put together its selection!
