In Central City, the weather report comes down to a red gust and a streak of light: blink and the case is already closed! The scarlet speedster was born in 1940 from the pen of Gardner Fox and the pencil of Harry Lampert, wearing the winged metal helmet of Jay Garrick. Barry Allen took up the torch in 1956: a forensic chemist with the Central City police, struck by lightning one night in his lab, he put on the red suit designed by Carmine Infantino and drew his pace from the Speed Force. Since then, the lightning bolt symbol has marked the one who runs faster than his era, while across from him Eobard Thawne, the Reverse-Flash, puts that exact same speed at the service of his grudge. Grant Gustin played him on television starting in 2014, Ezra Miller on the big screen in 2023, and the scarlet streak now cuts across collectors' display cases, with Funko figures and LEGO bricks to back it up!
