An Egyptologist, a colonel in the American army and a false god named Ra ruling over Abydos: that is the unlikely team Roland Emmerich put together in 1994 to open one of the vastest mythologies in science fiction! Daniel Jackson lines up the seven chevrons, Jack O'Neil steps through the blue vortex frozen into a liquid pool, and the gateway instantly becomes a cult moment. The series Stargate SG-1 then took over from 1997 to 2007, ten seasons spent under Cheyenne Mountain dialing addresses to unknown worlds and standing up to the Goa'uld and their Jaffa. The team finds an ally in Teal'c, former First Prime of Apophis who switched to the side of the Earthlings, before Stargate Atlantis took the mythology all the way to the Pegasus galaxy and Stargate Universe boarded the ship Destiny.
