Light cycles launched at full speed, identity discs flying and suits streaked with neon: Tron invented an aesthetic nobody has ever really managed to copy! Brought to the screen in 1982 by Steven Lisberger for Disney, the film digitizes programmer Kevin Flynn into the depths of a computer, where the Master Control Program rules as a tyrant over programs reduced to the state of gladiators. There Flynn finds an ally in Tron, the enforcer written by Alan Bradley, and discovers a Grid where every duel plays out on tracks of light. In 2010, Tron: Legacy, directed by Joseph Kosinski, restarted the machine with Sam Flynn, Quorra and the digital double Clu, on a soundtrack by Daft Punk. The animated series Tron: Uprising extended the adventure in 2012 alongside the program Beck. Since then, figures, comic books and art books have kept alive the blue and orange glow of a Grid that refuses to switch off!
