White hair, yellow cat eyes and two swords on his back, steel for men and silver for monsters: that is Geralt of Rivia's calling card! Created in 1986 by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, the Witcher sells his hunting contracts across a muddy Continent where neutrality always comes at a price. With the School of the Wolf medallion at his neck and a mare named Roach, he travels alongside Yennefer of Vengerberg and her scent of lilac and gooseberry, Ciri the child of surprise, and Dandelion, an unkillable bard who turns every massacre into a chorus. CD Projekt RED lifted the saga into the gaming pantheon with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in 2015, before Netflix brought the Continent to the screen in 2019 with Henry Cavill. From the novels to the POP figures of the White Wolf, the hunt carries on long after the last contract: a witcher never really puts his swords away!
