The Shining collection

A hotel lost in the mountains of Colorado, a caretaker job for the off-season and snow cutting off every road: the Overlook needs nothing more to chill your blood! Born from Stephen King's pen in 1977, then brought to the screen by Stanley Kubrick in 1980, The Shining follows the slow unraveling of Jack Torrance, a writer short on inspiration who comes to watch over the hotel with his family. His wife Wendy and their son Danny quickly understand that the corridors with their hexagonal carpet keep the memory of their former occupants. The tricycle rolling from wood floor to rug, the two little girls at the end of the hallway, the door of room 237, REDRUM written in lipstick and the same sentence typed over and over on the typewriter: so many images that have become the shared vocabulary of horror. Novels to reread with the lamp on, figures with unsettling smiles, t-shirts with Overlook patterns: the collection extends a winter no one walks away from unscathed!
