Max the makeshift reindeer dog, a hastily built sleigh, a fraudulent Santa Claus costume: the Grinch's whole arsenal spreads across steaming mugs and Funko POP figures with permanently furrowed brows. Jim Carrey immortalized his legendary grimaces, and Benedict Cumberbatch lent him his British voice in the recent animated film. Grouchy plush toys, puzzles recreating his cavernous lair, unapologetic "I Hate Christmas" t-shirts... The greenish anti-hero squats on our shelves with his endearing cynicism. Because beneath that shell of misanthropy there finally beats a heart capable of growing three sizes. And who can still resist this professional grouch?
