Rick and Morty collection

A suburban garage, a gun that opens green portals onto infinity, and there goes Morty Smith, dragged by his grandfather on the most dangerous tour of the multiverse! Created by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland for Adult Swim in 2013, the series grew out of a short film parodying Back to the Future and kept its mismatched duo: Rick Sanchez, an alcoholic scientist with spiky blue hair and a flask always within reach, paired with a teenager who takes every hit. Around them, Beth, Jerry and Summer hold together a family that each adventure cracks a little further. Rick dodges family therapy by turning himself into a pickle, an episode that won the Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program in 2018, and he summons blue Mr. Meeseeks who vanish as soon as their task is done. The green portal keeps opening long after the credits roll, with POP figures, comic books and novels that extend the garage chaos!
