A rocket cobbled together in a suburban basement, a neighborhood that suspects nothing and an unflappable seriousness: Gru cultivates his reputation as a supervillain like an art of living! Launched in 2010 by Illumination Entertainment under the direction of Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin, Despicable Me rests on a delicious reversal: the certified villain adopts Margo, Edith and Agnes in order to steal the Moon more easily, and ends up disarmed by tenderness. Around him swarms an army of Minions in overalls and big round goggles, led by Kevin, Stuart and Bob, whose inimitable gibberish and appetite for bananas earned them a prequel as early as 2015. Add Professor Nefario's rickety gadgets and Agnes's super-soft unicorn, and the picture of domestic chaos is complete. Between POP figures galore, mugs and Loungefly bags, the yellow gang has ended up taking over the shelves!
