Chainsaw Man collection

Pulling the starter cord lodged in his chest is all Denji needs to turn his head into a screaming chainsaw! Launched in 2018 in Weekly Shonen Jump by Tatsuki Fujimoto, Chainsaw Man follows a debt-ridden kid who survives alongside Pochita, a chainsaw devil shaped like a cheerful dog. The boy's dreams amount to almost nothing: bread with jam, a warm bed, a normal life. Recruited as a devil hunter by Public Safety, he finds himself surrounded by Makima and her hypnotic gaze, Aki Hayakawa serious to the bone and Power, possessed by the blood devil, unbearable and endearing. The story moves between absurd gags, sprays of blood and brutal shifts in tone, before MAPPA gave it its animated uproar in 2022. An excess that spills from the manga volumes to the novels, all the way to the POP figures lined up on shelves like a squad of hunters ready to start up!
