Pop culture's most polite ghost would rather say hello than scare anyone away! Created by Seymour Reit and Joe Oriolo, Casper has been floating around since 1945 and the Famous Studios short The Friendly Ghost, before making the glory days of the Harvey comics and then heading to the big screen in 1995. In the dusty hallways of Whipstaff Manor, this little white spirit with a round face is looking less to terrify than to find a friend, much to the dismay of his three uncles of the Ghostly Trio, determined to drive the living out of the house. Then Kat Harvey and her father James, a ghost therapist hired to exorcise the place, arrive, and the old building becomes the setting for an unlikely friendship, between creaking doors and walls passed right through. And Whipstaff Manor is not done recruiting: a whole collection carries on this friendship between a very much alive teenager and a ghost who never wanted to be scary!
