Adventure Time collection

In the Land of Ooo, a boy in a white hat and a dog who can stretch endlessly turn every morning into an absurd quest! Created by Pendleton Ward and launched on Cartoon Network in 2010, the series takes Finn and Jake through candy kingdoms, forgotten dungeons and the ruins of a war nobody wants to talk about anymore. Princess Bubblegum rules her candy people with haphazard science, the Ice King kidnaps princesses out of sheer despair, Marceline the vampire queen abuses her axe-shaped bass and BMO, a talking game console, comments on the chaos with disarming tenderness. Ten seasons were enough to turn this pastel fantasy into a melancholy fable about loneliness. The comics, meanwhile, leave the door to the Land of Ooo wide open, that unhinged playground where melancholy always shows up disguised as candy!
