The Grail is now hunted in vinyl! The Funko POP Kaamelott collection shrinks Alexandre Astier's wobbly Britain into two bobbleheads worth an entire kingdom. Arthur Pendragon stands on his base in his costume from the feature film, cape over his shoulders and blade in hand, with the resigned look of a man gathering his Round Table for the hundredth time with nothing to show for it. No Excalibur: at this point in the story the sword is still stuck in its rock, so the king makes do with weapons picked up along the way. The sculpt captures that royal weariness that became iconic, furrowed brows and lowered chin, right down to the beauty mark reproduced on his cheek. Guinevere answers him as a queenly silhouette, a wife who landed on the throne without asking for it and is never listened to at the castle. The most dysfunctional couple in Arthurian legend fits entirely on a single shelf, and these two give any display case the air of a throne room where the quest is not moving an inch!

In the zany kingdom of "Kaamelott", Arthur, far from the cliche of the noble and serious king, struts around as a monarch with no real responsibilities. Rather than seriously managing his knights, the king juggles quests that are as crazy as they are meaningless. His throne, far from being the center of enlightened decisions, more often becomes the stage for hilarious misunderstandings. And what about his sword Excalibur, which seems to have an agenda of its own? Sometimes stuck in a rock, sometimes brandished proudly during a mock duel, it is a reflection of King Arthur himself - a bit capricious.
