It is fair to say that this collaboration was a long time coming! For years, fans dreamed of it without really believing in it, putting together concepts and homemade models in the hope that the two giants would finally meet. It is now done: on February 27, 2026, for Pokémon Day and the franchise's thirtieth anniversary, the very first LEGO Pokémon sets arrived. And to launch this long-awaited alliance, what could be more natural than a return to the roots, in the Kanto region? Pikachu bursting out of its Poké Ball, the sweet Eevee ready to reveal its many evolutions, and of course the legendary trio of starters, Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, brought together in a monumental diorama designed as a true sculpture to display. Sets aimed at first at adult collectors, the very ones who once chose their first companion on a Game Boy screen, before the range rolled out its more playful and interactive builds for budding trainers. Catch them all... one piece at a time!

First year for LEGO Pokémon 2026, and what an entrance! Builders aged 18 and up welcome Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, three articulated figures whose jungle, volcano and beach bases form a single battlefield. Next come the younger fans with the SMART Play range, whose bricks react with light and sound when you feed or tickle your Pokémon, while Arcanine and Rayquaza are aimed at adult display shelves. Further on, open up the Trainer's Poké Ball Culture Moments wide: Professor Oak's lab takes the top, the battle scene the bottom!
