Harry Potter: The Monster Book is part of a collection of affordable sets with appealing content. An officially licensed item, the set contains a mini replica of the book as it appears in the films. Molded in plastic and battery powered, this replica reproduces the terrifying sounds and the captivating movements of the Monster Book of Monsters. A simple clap of the hands sets it moving, to your great delight - and perhaps a brief moment of fright. A small forty-eight page book is also included in the box.
It offers a presentation of the magical creatures with descriptions, illustrations and color photographs taken from the films. Because of its tiny size, the booklet is not rich in information. Nevertheless, it is an excellent memory aid for Potterheads hit by the Obliviate spell. You will still need to understand English, since there is no translation of this set, but that is not really a problem for finding the basic information on the creatures. Harry Potter: The Monster Book is a unique item that will be a tangible, impressive and wonderful keepsake for fans of the wizarding world. You will be able to relive the magical moments of the films every time you handle this little object and fly off into the enchanting universe of the Harry Potter books.
